FIAT 500L (ECU) Engine Control Module by Magneti Marelli (No Radio Remote Controller)
Take your FIAT 500L to the next level with this Engine Module by Magneti Marelli.
This is a Plug and Play Unit that has been designed to improve the performance of your FIAT 500L. It is designed with OEM Connectors and works with the electronics of your 500L to increase power and engine response. The prototype of this unit was installed in the FIAT 500 ABARTH Venom Concept Car and received rave reviews. We have this module installed in our own ABARTH that shares the same engine as the 500L and can verify that it fits and works as promised.
The difference in performance is significant!

The manufacturer states that the unit typically ads between 25-40 Horsepower.
Here are the details of the controller:
The unit is activated only after the engine has reached operating temperature.
The unit deactivates in case of abnormal and prolonged elevated engine temperatures and overheating.
Gold Plated Pins are used in electrical connectors for zero current leakage.
All the connectors are like the Original Equipment connectors.
Limits the increase of power to be within the limits of mechanical gearbox and clutch of the car.
Receives data from the original ECU and sensors and reinterprets them by changing boost pressure, fuel flow, injection timing and ignition advance.
The module will be preloaded with the most aggressive tune (Race Tune) as a default.
If you have the remote control you will be able to switch from Race (button #2) to Performance (button #1) down to stock (button #0).
Please make sure the car is in stationary position when you switch between settings.
This listing is for the module without the remote controller. You can add the remote controller later, but you will need to send us back your module and pay an additional $150 (for the remote, reprogramming and shipping). If you are thinking about whether or not you should get the module with the remote we would recommend the complete system. We have it on our own cars and recommend the systems with the remote.
